The Viewing Deck
The best seat at Camelthorn Farmstead is right here on the deck. Our viewing deck, situated at the corner of the property with a stunning view of the Boteti River, offers front-row access to some of Botswana’s most iconic wildlife. Come and enjoy nature at its finest—especially during peak times, when you may spot elephants, hippos, zebra, wildebeest, giraffes, and more. It’s the perfect place to pause, watch, and truly connect with the wild.
So grab a drink, a snack or simply experience what the deck has to offer.
The Boma and The Diner
As the sun dips below the horizon, our boma comes to life—crackling fires, starlit skies, and the rich aroma of food on the way. It’s a space to unwind, share stories, and connect after a day of adventure. Once the fire has warmed your spirit, head over to the diner area where hearty, home-style meals are served to satisfy every appetite.
